I find the display of bunker distances confusing. I think it needs at least a left/right annotation. Combined with the distances, I think this would be enough so you could tell which bunker is which.
When you use the measure shot feature, it would be nice if it would retain your starting position, even if you change to the distance screen before you reach your ball, i.e. when one of your playing partners asks for a distance before you get to your ball. That way, you could give them their distances and then switch back to the measure shot screen and continue to your ball. Of course, I could refuse to provide distances, but that seems a little harsh during a friendly game
I’d love a feature that would allow you to provide a club selection when using the measure distance feature, and have it append to a simple text file to keep track of distances for each club. That way, over time, you could build up a statistically significant distance measurement for each club. No need for it to suggest a club and potentially run afoul of the rules, IMO.
I find the placement of the + and – buttons (for advancing the holes and the score) counterintuitive and awkward. The + button is to the left of the score/hole text display you are adjusting, and on the very left side of the screen. As a result, as a right-hander, my finger is in the way of seeing the Hole # or score when pressing the + button. Since I will be pressing the + much more than the -, it seems like it would be better if the + button was to the right of the number I am adjusting, and therefore nearer the middle of the screen. Obviously, left-handers would disagree. It seems that almost every other similar +/- control in most software has + being to the right.
I agree with a previous poster: entering scores would be much easier if the score started at par, not 0 (I am almost always closer to par, than I am to 0
Again, I love the software, so these suggestions should not be taken as complaints.
