When looking at some of the mapped courses online, it looks like the markers are pretty far off. A few questions about this.
1. When checking the 2 maps (Bing and Google) it looks good on one and is off on the other, but some holes (for the same course) look good on both. If the map for one or the other is off shouldn't it be off for every hole, not just some?
2. The markers may be off a little on the map, but perhaps they're correct if somone played the course and adjusted the markers as they played. For people that do this, are those markers adjusted online or only on that one persons phone? If they are adjusted online, how would I possibly know that someone did that? I would just look at the map and think they're off and be tempted to remap it myself.
3. In general, is Bing or Google more accurate when mapping yourself?
I guess for the most part I'm just wondering when I should trust the markers someone else entered and when I should remap (on ones that have very few non-green markers I plan on mapping it myself though).
